Governor Kay Ivey on Friday released a video message welcoming Alabama students back to school and encouraging them to embrace the opportunities of a new academic year.
Ivey also thanked Alabama’s teachers, school leaders and parents for their role in preparing the next generation for success.
“As students return to classrooms across our state, I want them to know they have my full support,” Ivey said. “I will be keeping our students, teachers and parents in my prayers, and I look forward to seeing all they accomplish this school year.”
