FreedomWorks and Young Americans For Liberty Hold State Convention in Auburn on Saturday

On Saturday, April 6th, FreedomWorks and the Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) are hosting a grassroots Alabama State Convention.

FreedomWorks Policy Analyst Julie Borowski will be a featured speaker.

FreedomWorks is partnering with state and national organizations to bring one-day campus events designed to build stronger state networks, advance their activists’ knowledge and skills, and inspire attendees to greater activism.

In the Freedomworks written statement the group said, “Our goal is to introduce you to the same top-notch training and networking opportunities made available at our exclusive annual National Convention in Washington, D.C. You will discover new ideas, connect with local leaders, and just have a good time advancing the youth movement for liberty. We’ll also bring exciting keynote speakers—the top names of the liberty movement.”

The event is at the Auburn University Center at 255 Heisman Drive in Ballroom A.  Check in starts at 9:00 a.m.

Participants include: YAL Director of Programs & Operations, Edward King;  YAL National Field Director, Joshua Parrish; , YAL Southeast Regional Director, Anthony Rodriguez; FreedomWorks’ Julie Borowski; and Mises Institute’s Lew Rockwell

Borowski is a libertarian philosophically who describes herself as a, “Believer in capitalism, individual liberty and peace.”  She has a U-tube channel where she discusses current events and fiscal policy/liberty issues.

Lew Rockwell is the founder and chairman of the Mises Institute and is a libertarian blogger.

Announced Topics include: Speak the Language of Liberty, 10 Ways to Make a Difference Now, Organize and Mobilize for Liberty, Build Your Infrastructure

The cost is $10 for YAL members and $25 for non-members and includes a free Lunch.   The cost of joining YAL is just $10.
