Wes Allen, Alabama’s current secretary of state, shared Thursday that he has received “far more contributions than any of his opponents in the race to become Alabama’s next Lt. Governor.”

In the first required monthly FCPA report of the 2026 election cycle, Allen raised $94,300 and transferred an additional $42,078.17 from his secretary of state campaign. He ended the month with $140,253.47 cash on hand in his campaign account.

“I am grateful for the outpouring of support I have received from across the State. To be first in fundraising out of the gate is important but what is even more significant to me is that I have the most contributions of anyone in the Lt. Governor race,” Allen said. “That is a message of support from real Alabamians. They see what I have done as Probate Judge, as a member of the Alabama House and as Secretary of State and they know I will be the same steadfast conservative leader they can count on as Alabama’s next Lt. Governor.”

Allen’s May report was filed on June 1. He boasted that his campaign is dominating the field in all financial metrics including cash on hand, amount raised and number of donors.

Allen currently serves as Alabama’s 54th secretary of state. His name will appear as a candidate for lieutenant governor on May 19, 2026.
